Fall is in the air! Hello to crisp mornings and leaves turning their brilliant, beautiful colors! Welcome to our blog hop and definitely a favorite theme for me! Not a day goes by without many cups of coffee…. and if there is chocolate in our home, I will be inhaling it! My favorite drink has recently become Matcha Lattes, so so good.
Card #1 ~ Miss You!
Card #2 ~ Vintage Teacups
Card #3 ~ Coffee and a Cinnamon Stick
Card #4 ~ Coffee to Keep You Warm
This border stamp is a definite favorite! The many shapes of coffee cups are incredible. Theseare the steps to create this card. 1. Stamp the image with green ink and heat emboss with clear powder. 2. Watercolor images with various green and brown colors. 3. Using a crimping tool, run a strip of kraft through it and adhere to card front. This is to resemble corrugated hand protectors on coffee cups! 4. Die cut shape with heavyweight vellum. 5. Stamp the sentiment on pattern paper and die cut with the same shape as the vellum. Trim off the top and bottom. 6. Add a copper brad to the sentiment and glue down to the kraft strip. 7. Glue card front to a kraft card base.

So many wonderful cards again this month, Rachel! I just love your CAS vintage card… so elegant! And the Hot Mess {border background} stamp is a fave… love your colors choices!
So much fun going on in your cards, Rachel. I have the ‘the little things’ stamp set, but have never used it … as well as that embossing folder on the ‘yummy’ card! lol I always love seeing inspiration with things that I actually have. tfs!
Fab range of styles on these sweet cards, many sets that are new to me and will make their way to my wish list. My fave is the third card, so much gorgeous dimension and I love the pinks and browns.
These are so fun! I love the playing with textures… the touch of pink in the cup is really pretty. I’ve not used Tim H glaze, almost bought it this week, but decided to pass…. darn it…. sweet focal effect. .. but Miss you is so tender and those colors are just as sweet. Happy Fall.
These are all beautiful, and so cozy and warm. I have that Little Things Itty Bitty and now I’m tempted to pull it up and get inky. Love the extra accent on your coffee mug in the first card, along with the twine and pretty background
Another nice collection of cards from you this month. I love the texture of the “Life happens coffee helps” card. The way you made the background paper step up with the colored embossed paper is so effective. Very nice!
