Day 5 ~ Growing In Unity

As the weekend approaches I hope you get to enjoy rest and relaxation with friends and family. Get-togethers this summer take on a special meaning for many as it might be the first time in a long time seeing one another.

This border stamp says it all. I have visions of a nighttime campfire with laughter and warm conversation, roasting marshmallows and creating the most delicious s’mores. Look at the marshmallows, they are roasted just right as the ends are a medium toasty color!

I stamped the border with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger silver embossing powder. I painted the images using metallic watercolors.
I heat embossed the sentiment and framed it on silver cardstock.
Supplies I used
“S’mores” border background stamp by Angie Blom for Unity Stamp Company.
Not planning to make this a 4th of July card, I realize this is a 4th of July card! How awesome is that?! Sometimes things work out perfectly!

As this week comes to a close, I want to thank you all for joining me. I have had an absolute blast! Your encouraging words and kind comments have been so appreciated.

Please comment one more time and two names will be randomly chosen to win $20 gift cards to Unity!

Thank you to Unity Stamp Company for giving me a chance to share my cards! Your company is so generous. I love the sense of community you provide and the many beautiful images you release. There is something here for everyone.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

  7. Wow! You really saved the best for last. It’s perfect for a summer night campfire. Something you’d only be dreaming of here, since they’re banned for now, with “Extremely Extreme” risk of wildfires. I almost got to roast marshmallows in my back yard last night as lightning struck in our city last night. Luckily all are safe!

Thanks for a beautiful week, and a distraction from this heat!
